Shykon, LLC. is an Albuquerque, New Mexico-based general contractor and construction management company that emphasizes “green” building practices and has an on-staff specialist accredited in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). The Company primarily services the Albuquerque market but its territory includes all of the state New Mexico. Shykon’s management team has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and its services extend to the commercial, residential and government markets. Interest in environmentally-friendly initiatives has never been higher. In fact, in 2008 New Mexico was one of the top five states in the U.S. for LEED-registered homes, according to the U.S. Green Building Council. New Mexico is also one of just three states to adopt that group’s 2030 Challenge to aggressively reduce fossil fuel use, greenhouse gas emissions, and energy consumption in all new and renovated buildings.
